Library barcodes allow you to sign into your library catalog account and renew or request library materials.
Your library card number is automatically generated based on your NECC ID number and printed on the front of your NECC ID card, which can be obtained at either campus Welcome Express Desk for students or at the IT Help Desk on either campus for faculty/staff. Your card number is activated when you register for classes or start employment, regardless of whether or not you have a physical card.
Your library card number: 203850 + Your 8-digit NECC ID. (For instance, if your NECC ID number is 00112233, your library card number is 20385000112233).
Your library card password is set to your 8-digit birthdate. (For instance, if your birthday is April 15, 1996, your password is 04151996.)
If this doesn't work, try resetting your password using the My Library Account link or calling either campus library.
The NECC Libraries have over 35,000 books and films. If you want to see what the other libraries in our network own, change the scope to All HELM or View Entire Collection. You can request books and movies using your NECC Library card and PIN number.
Remember, if you can't find any material on your topic, ask an NECC librarian for assistance.

Searching tips:
If you know the name of the artist, use keyword or subject searching in the library catalog for books under these names. Once you have a book in hand, refer to its index or table of contents to determine whether or not your artwork is mentioned.
If the artist is unknown, try searching under time period, style, location, or movement.
Utilize resources such as Wikipedia and reference resources like the Credo database to create a list of keywords. Even though you may not be able to use these resources in your project or paper, they will help you find other sources.
