Searching in library databases is different from searching on the open web. In most cases, a keyword search is the best way to search for articles in a database.
To get the best results, think of the most important concepts in your search, then separate them with an "and" in the search box.

Full-Text Finder provides a list of full-text Early Childhood Education Journals available through the NECC Libraries Databases. To browse through a journal, click on one of the database links, then select an issue.
Once you have selected a journal or magazine, you can search for your topic within it by clicking the search box.

Google Scholar allows you to search for scholarly articles using the familiar Google search box, and the techniques you are used to using in a Google search. Google Scholar is a resource worth trying if you find the information you need using the library databases. Unfortunately, some of the scholarly articles you will find using Google Scholar are not available in full-text or are not free.
Hit a paywall? One disadvantage to Google Scholar is that not everything is freely available. You may be asked to pay money in order to view the article. Before you pay any money:
