How to Use NoodleTools

A guide to using NoodleTools citation generator.

Your Library Card and Off-Campus Access

Your library card number is 203850 + your 8-digit student ID Number.

(For instance, if your Student ID number is 00223344, your library card number is: 20385000223344)

Your password is your 8-digit birthday.

(For instance, if your birthday is April 15, 1996, your password is: 04151996)

Your library card allows you to access your NECC Library Account to request and renew books and other items. You will also be prompted to enter your library card number and password when accessing the library's electronic resources (like databases) from off-campus.

Accessing NoodleTools

You must access NoodleTools from the link on the left navigation on the NECC Library website. 

If you are off-campus, you will need to enter your library card number and password before you get to the NoodleTools login screen.

See the box to the left if you don't remember your library account information.

New Accounts

You no longer need to create an account to use NoodleTools. You can now sign in using your NECC Microsoft 365 credentials. If you have a NoodleTools account from previous semesters, you will be prompted to link it to your new account the first time you sign in.
