Full-Text Journals in Art

Full Text Finder provides a list of full-text Art Journals available through the NECC library databases. Click on a subject to see the journals on a topic, and then click on a specific title to see a chronological list of issues.

You can then either choose a specific issue, or search within that journal using the search box. Listed below are a few journals accessible with Full Text Finder:

  • Art History
    • Original articles relating to all aspects of the historical and theoretical study of painting, sculpture, design and other areas of visual imagery
  • The Art Bulletin
    • Published by the College Art Association (CAA)
  • Art Book
    • Covers decorative, fine and applied art, art history, photography, architecture and design
  • Aurora: The Journal of the History of Art
    • Includes articles utilizing any methodology on any aspect of the history of art

NECC Interlibrary Loan Request/ILL

Occasionally a book or article will not be available in the library's databases or at one of the other HELM libraries. In these instances, the library will try to request the item from another library through interlibrary loan.

If there is a book or article that you need, and it is not available through HELM or the library's databases, you may fill out the ILL form to request it. You can also call us at either 978-556-3400 or 978-738-7400 to make a request.
