Finding information about multimedia means we are often starting on the web. However, finding reliable information for learning about multimedia (instead of commercial information from freelance multimedia designers or design companies) can be difficult.
When searching online, look for domain names that end in .org or .edu - anything with a .com domain name is a for-profit site of some sort. While these may be useful (user interface blogs, for instance - we suggest a few below but there are many more), other domain names may be more relevant for the study of multimedia and design.

Because multimedia can touch on many subjects in many ways, we might find articles in many different places. We might search for design and art history in a general database, but the use of multimedia in education in an education database, and technical information about multimedia in sources about computers and computer programming.
