Northern Essex Community College offers several options to provide services to the Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Deaf Blind community. The NECC libraries support students of these programs by providing print and electronic resources related to the curriculum. This guide is designed to help connect students with library resources through the links on the left.

Transferring to a Four-Year College or University:

Upon completion of a degree, interpreters take the Massachusetts Interpreting Screening exam in order to qualify to work in the state of MA and NH.

After a few years of experience, national certification may be pursued through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
