ENG 102: English Composition II

A Guide for NECC Comp. II students, featuring resources for literary criticism and research.

Getting Started

Winslow Homer's painting 'The Fog Warning' from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
In English Composition II, much of the writing and research will be focused on understanding and analyzing literature and other forms of creative expression, such as the painting on the left, "The Fog Warning."

You may also be asked to think critically about a topic as it relates to your course materials. This may involve selecting a theme from a novel that you have read, and researching that theme as it relates to the present day or its historical past.

This guide has been designed to help you locate appropriate resources to support you on your research journey. If you have questions, please ask a librarian.
